Sine Die 2018

The 2018 Idaho Legislative Session is concluded, adjourned Sine Die. While there were some disappointments such as no grocery tax relief and the Senate holding the CBD oil bill and HB 623 providing for independent administrative hearing officers, there were a number of positives. Some of those include significant income tax relief, civil asset forfeiture corrections, stronger protection against school threats, and repeal of anti-competitive contract restrictions passed two years ago. There was of course more of both good and not so good, but on the whole we had a positive session.
